Shipping
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on all power tool batteries and on orders over $200. Otherwise it's based on order weight: up to 499g is $10.50, 500g to 4.99kg is $11.70, and 5kg and over is $25.00. See Shipping & delivery for details.
When will my order be sent?
In-stock orders are normally dispatched within 48 business hours of receiving your order and payment. Evolve batteries are built to order, so please allow about 3 weeks. Delivery time then depends on your location and the carrier.
Why can battery deliveries take longer?
Lithium batteries are classified as Dangerous Goods and travel by approved road freight only, so delivery can take longer than standard parcels, particularly to regional and remote areas.
Do you ship overseas?
No, we currently ship within Australia only.
Power tool batteries
Will the battery fit my tool?
Our 18V batteries are made for Makita LXT, DeWalt XR and Milwaukee M18 tools. Each product page shows exactly which platform it fits. Not sure? Email sales@marsen.com.au and we'll confirm before you order.
What warranty do they have?
Our power tool batteries have a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. They are independently manufactured compatible replacements and are not made, authorised or endorsed by the original tool brands. See our warranty page.
Where are they built?
All our battery packs are built in our workshop in Western Australia.
Evolve batteries
Does the battery come with a BMS?
No. You move the BMS from your current battery across to your new Marsen battery, so please keep it. The battery won't work without it. Each product page links to an installation video showing how.
How long does an Evolve battery take?
Evolve batteries are built to order, so please allow about 3 weeks before dispatch.
Do I need a spacer?
Carbon batteries in 14Ah, 15Ah and 17.5Ah, and all Bamboo battery sizes, need a spacer to fit. Carbon 11Ah and 12Ah don't. When a size needs a spacer, the product page shows a notice with an Add spacer to cart button.
Molicel cells
Are your Molicel cells genuine?
Yes. We're Australia's Authorised Molicel Seller and source our cells directly from Molicel. Every batch comes with a certificate of compliance.
Can I buy cells in bulk?
Volume discounts are shown on each cell's product page. For orders over 200 cells, request a wholesale quote.
Custom batteries
Do you build custom battery packs?
Yes. We design and build custom lithium-ion packs for robotics, defence, wheelchairs and mobility, PEVs and eFoils, and commercial and industrial uses. We don't build home energy storage or batteries for cars and trucks. Start a custom quote.
How long does a custom build take?
Lead time is at least 3 weeks, and up to 6 months for complex builds. We'll confirm the lead time with your quote.
Can I send drawings or photos?
Yes. After you send the quote form, email any drawings, photos or spec sheets to sales@marsen.com.au with your name.
Orders, returns and payment
Can I return something I no longer need?
We don't offer returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind, so please check specifications and compatibility before ordering. If you ordered the wrong item, contact us and we may be able to arrange an exchange. See our returns and refunds policy.
What if my item is faulty?
Contact us at sales@marsen.com.au with your order details and a description of the problem. Please don't post a lithium battery back before talking to us, as there are rules for shipping Dangerous Goods.
How can I pay?
You can pay with PayPal or any of the other payment options shown at checkout. We don't offer Afterpay.
