This is the high power version of the battery upgrade for Evolve Bamboo One, Gen 2, GT and GTX. It uses Molicel INR21700 P42A 4.2Ah cells and can output over 100% more power than the standard 12Ah with 135A continuous capability. The nominal voltage is 36V with a charge voltage of 42 volts so it can be charged using our standard 2A charger or the fast 4A charger. The cells are spot welded together with 99.99% pure Nickel strips using a commercial grade 15KVA inverter battery welder for strong quality welds. It has an 11 wire JST connector for BMS balancing (compatible with Evolve BMS) BMS not supplied, BMS from existing Evolve battery required. It has upgraded 12AWG silicone power leads (compared to the standard 14AWG) and fitted with T-style Deans connector and a high current clamp connector for a solder free connection.

One of the main issues with the some electric skateboard batteries is voltage sag when under high load such as going up hills. By using a higher rated cell the voltage sag can be reduced. The Molicel INR21700P42A cell is rated to 45 Amps so voltage sag is reduced to a minimum when a 10S3P battery pack is used. This will provide 135 Amps continuously.
