Marsen Energy 36V 21Ah (10S6P) Li-ion Skateboard battery suitable for DIY or the Evolve Gen2 Carbon (single motor) Electric Skateboard. It uses LG Chem MJ1 3500mAh cells in a 10S6P configuration to provide up to 60 amps continuous or 100 amps for short periods. The nominal voltage is 36V with a charge voltage of 42 volts so it can be charged using Evolve standard or fast charger or Marsen 4A fast chargers. The cells are spot welded together with 99.9% pure Nickel strips using a commercial grade 15KVA inverter battery welder for strong quality welds. The 6P sections are joined with braided copper wire to increase flexibility of the pack as well as reducing the width of the pack. It has an 11 wire JST connector for BMS balancing (compatible with Evolve BMS) BMS not supplied, BMS from existing Evolve battery required for Gen2 upgrade. The 12AWG silicone power leads are fitted with T-style Deans connector and a high current clamp connector for a solder free fast connection. Alternative connectors available (XT60, XT90)

The shipping price on these batteries includes full insurance to cover for the unlikely event of damage or loss during freight.
One of the main issues with the some electric skateboard batteries is voltage sag when under high load such as going up hills. By using a higher rated cell the voltage sag can be reduced. For a more detailed explanation of voltage sag see Jay Boston's youtube clip. Voltage Sag
